Find B2C local businesses
Plumbers, dentists, restaurants. A different segment with different rules — and free-mail addresses are not a data-quality problem here.
Search local businesses by category and location. The demo account's folders (Dentist, Designers) suggest this gets used a lot.
The thing most people get wrong about this segment
Local businesses frequently have a Gmail address as the real business contact. A prospecting workflow that treats free-mail as low-quality data will silently discard your best local prospects.
For a two-person plumbing firm, bobsplumbing@gmail.com is not a mistake to be corrected. It is the actual
contact route, and it is the one the owner reads. The same signal means opposite things depending on the segment —
which is the sort of nuance a scoring model gets wrong and a human gets right in a second.
What to send them
Not what you send a SaaS buyer. These are owner-operators with no procurement process and no patience. The strongest opener is something specific and checkable about their business — their Google listing, their reviews, the form on their site that does not work.
